NGHA Launches ‘Pediatric Emergency Medicine’ Conference

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bandar Al Knawy initiate NGHA ‘Pediatric Emergency Medicine’ conference on Saturday 27/4/1429 (H), 3/5/2008. The conference is sponsored by NGHA Academic Affaires and its activities will be carried out for 3 constant days in NG Officers’ Social Club.

The conference was started with reciting verses of the Holy Quran followed by the speech of Head of the Organizing Committee Dr. Mohammad Al Mutaree in which he emphasized the importance of holding the ‘Pediatric Emergency Medicine’ conference for the fifth year since it highlights latest developments and breakthroughs in this vital branch of medicine. “For the sake of our children’s health, we aim to improve our doctors’ skills through conducting several lectures and workshops as part of the conference agenda.” He declared.Following, Deputy KSU-HS Professor Rashid Al Rashid spoke in which he expressed NGHA enthusiasm for sponsoring this conference. “We hope that this conference will further enhance our medical staff ability especially in the field of pediatric emergency medicine.”

Later Dr. Al Knawy announced the start of the conference as he spoke out his great expectations for the result of this conference. “We need to keep up with the tremendous advancements that the world is witnessing in various fields especially in medicine. To fulfill this wish, we invited international speakers from Canada, USA and Gulf countries in order to highlight the latest advancement in pediatric emergency medicine, as well as Saudi pediatric emergency medicine consultants and specialists.” He emphasized.

By the end of the opening ceremony, Dr. Al Knawy thanked the international speakers attending and all other scheduled to participate in the conferences activities.
